Sun sets on the Sheppey - our village recreation ground and what a great amenity it is. The children all in their twenties often shoot some hoops before dinner.
I guess the space was once grazing for sheep and it is huge for the population of the village (about 600 in just over 200 households). Today David and I went to see David's dad in London. I can never quite get over how much sky and fields we have here and how lucky we are. And it didn't rain on St Swithin's day so we should get some summer sun soon. One more week at school and then the hols - got to be a smiley face:)
