Saturday lunches are becoming our thing since David's partial retirement. He doesn't work on a Friday so chores get done before the weekend:)
Today we just edged into Warwickshire where we saw lots of pheasants and partridges followed by beaters and a shooting party on our way upwards to this pretty pub where we had lunch. Nice to see an old village green with stocks and an ancient orchard.
The last photo is of a table runner I am making from an old French hemp sheet. The binding is a Liberty print in a good colourway for Christmas. I think it will look good on the table in the dining room and it's very long which I like too.
